The AAA supported the preparation of the project “ECHOES FROM INVISIBLE LANDSCAPES” which is co-financed by the EU-“Europe for Citizens”-program. Coordinated by the project partners newly established “Echo Collective Network” (Enterprise Z, Wieser Publishing Company, Alps-Adriatic University Klagenfurt, Zveza Mink Tolmin and Mani doo) the two-year project invites the local population of the Alps-Adriatic area and international artists as “agents of cultural reflection”, to reconsider social structures based on our relationships.
In the project´s framework, “HAPPENING 1” will take place from the 12th to the 16th of December 2017 under the motto “Echoes from the Alps-Adriatic Region” at Klanghaus Untergreith in St. Johann im Saggautal (Steiermark/Styria). On several journeys across the Alps-Adriatic area, sounds and noises were collected and compiled into a sound map of this region in order to reflect the cultural and social diversity. This sound map will be presented at HAPPENING 1 and also on the project´s website www.echoesfrominvisiblelandscapes.com.
